Again a strawman. Nobody is saying they didn't place them there for a reason. What's insulting, though, is that because you happen to like drawing figures, the Egyptians must have placed the pyramids in such a way that there is some geometry to be decoded.

Which is actually very strong evidence that you can draw just about any geometry you like on an otherwise blank canvas save for a couple of dozen points, from which you are then allowed to cherry-pick as many as you like for your creation.
