Don't sweat it. Not many really do (otherwise Houdin wouldn't get quite so much publicity...lol)

But, you're right. Houdin did get this part right, but not in the depth or detail, from what I can tell, that I have put into my work. From what I can see, he doesn't actually understand the interior of Khufu's pyramid, or Egyptian pyramids in general. He sees them as structures... tombs for dead kings. He's an architect, and to quote a very wise person, "we see things as we are, not as they are".

But tombs are not what they were, as any real Egyptologist will tell you. And I know you know that, too.
