Well, of course the Miocene lake had totally disappeared long before any man ever appeared in Bosnia - or anywhere else :-). But that doesn't mean that you couldn't have a little lake or pond in a valley, behind a natural barrier, in more recent times, and it's possible that people, during antiquity or medieval times, made a ditch to drain the water. In fact, a similar thing happened just below my village in France, where a natural dam in a very narrow gap between two mountains had created a pond in the above valley, which was emptied during the Middle Ages. I do not know Bihac, and have no more material than what I put on my site ; maybe you shoud contact geolog-mrak at [www.geolog-mrak.bloger.hr], he's a local geologist, living I think in Tuzla.

Yes, that's part of Osmanagic's theory, see for instance at the end of his book about the "pyramid of Sun", there is a text wrote by Jovo Jovanovic about "alke", iron-rings ; and the Foundation even had, at a time, a "sub-committee for iron-rings" (managed by Jovanovic) in the "committee for archaeology". Their claim is that iron-rings could be found high in the mountains everywhere in Bosnia (but curiously not one can be found nowadays, they have all disappeared...), and that these iron-rings were used by an old civilisation during the Flood to tight their boats... For the non bosnian speakers, you can have a look at this link : [www.bosnianpyramid.com].
See also the texts written by Goran Cakic about the fact that the "pyramids" were kinds of "Noah's Arks" to escape the flood, and the ones by Osmanagic Senior who claims that the "monoliths" found in the tunnels have been covered by "marine breccia" during huge rise of the sea-level... (all of these texts are on the Foundation website, but only the ones by Osmanagic Senior are translated in english).
The iron-rings are also the hobby of a man who has developped really fancy theories years before Osmanagic, Rudolf Bosnjak : [www.sartelcom.net]
