Why not?

The other information in the article matches with information found elsewhere, including the age of the civilization and that it was considered one of the "cradles" of Chinese Civilization.

It was picked up by at least one other source that looks reliable:

I've found even more sources that seem to support the article. Why don't you find it a credible source? Inquiring minds would like to be enlightened.
