Nice diversionary effort. Because one is not trained every forum of human endeavor does not mean one need be silent on issues that fall outside one's expertise. I have laid out above why I (and others) consider geology and inappropriate tool for archaeological dating.
Let me explain AGAIN, however, my overall stance: since many geologists question Schoch's methods, reasoning and conclusions, and since Schoch's geologic opinion is ALL that the older Sphinx proposition rests on, it is insufficient gounds, in my opinion, to change the date of the Sphinx as established by archaeological means and attested context.
Clear enough, Jameske?
Let's put it this way: if Schoch's geological opinion is removed from the table, what else does the older sphinx idea rest on?
