I wouldn't say useless. She relates everything to eclipses and she uses a lot of outdated material. She is sort of doing a "Hamlet's Mill" but limiting it to Egypt and focusing on myths reflecting eclipses rather than precession. G.A. Wainwright's _Sky Religion_ hints at the idea of royal regicide and she tries to connect that to eclipses too. I wouldn't discourage you from reading it, but don't use is alone. Also read Wainwright and Neugebauer and Parker's _Astronomical Texts_, and get some good mythology/religion books for balance.
