<HTML>Strong word, that "bogus".
Tastes REAL bad when you have to eat it at a later date, too.
(that would be the voice of experience, by the way)
Derek, you know I respect you and your abilities.
However, you are dealing with this topic in the same way as people look at the Piri Reis map the first time and scream, "ATLANTIS!". You need to see the whole map before you can declare this to be absolute proof.
Derek, you are attempting to claim that you have solved the mystery of the Coral Castle, yet you won't answer any of the questions about the how's, the why's, the where's or the who's. You want to float this hypothesis, which flies smack in the face of engineering principles and mechanical specifications, and... much like an author you like to deride quite frequently... say, "It's not my job to prove it!".
Have you even realized this is what you're doing?
I am emailing the pics to Kat for posting. You can clearly see that Ed's equipment is worthless for this kind of work. The pulleys have no sprockets... that eliminates any of the lifting capacity that the advanced versions you are showing as proof create. They are just simple pulleys, and they only create a 4:1 ratio.
Just because it has wheels doesn't mean it's a Carrera.
