Define "recent"
There is a study on the Arikara in Owsley & Jantz's "Skeletal Biology in the Great Plains", documenting significant cranial changes within a 1-2 generation period (correlated to dietary changes). I've heard of fast changes documented among other Plains tribes as well, but don't recall the cites offhand (may have been the same book).
Also note [
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] for a four year old study reporting on brachycephalization of Japanese (& Koreans). There was a (now ceased) 100 year increase in height & brachycephaly, thought caused by better nutrition. The study also mentions the opposite happened (height increase but debrachycephalization) among Europeans, and tries to tie it to differences in facial morphology.
