Glad to hear that you're doing OK after the operation, Don. A good job you didn't have to pay for it ... Hip operations are available on our NHS ... provided you don't mind joining a queue. To have an operation done privately would be about £12,000-£20,000: so I suppose on a par with prices in the US. Take care: no clubbing and abseiling for a while!
