One thing I should note is that the latitude of Akron is such that the day of the attacks, Thuban - the ancient Draco pole star reached an altitude of 66.7° at transit. This means that they might have wanted to pass or turn around at an altitude that corresponds to a Thuban angle of 66.6° or 66.6666..° at transit.
I have pointed out the relation between Mecca and the Alnitak 66.6° altitude. Maybe they wanted to symbolically target Bush(his birth), or Condoleezza Rice(Stamford)
The 41 degrees latitude is the number of the Antichrist.
