A new theory, that is simple.

The central symbols are not letters they simply represent the planets Saturn and Uranus with the corresponding horizontal and vertical rings.

To the left there are 4 ancient Greek alphabetic letters having the shape used in Crete. Adding up the gematria - wordnumber values we get 119 which is a decadic submultiple of the minimum distance between the Earth and Saturn.

This leads me to believe that the other side of the I-beam that is broken used to have another letter - so there was symmetry - 4 on each side. It was the theta letter. This way using once again the Cretan letters we get a gematria value equal to the Hebrew name for God - EHWE (Jahoba) or 26. This number is thus a decadic submultiple in meters of the minimum distance between the Earth and Uranus.

The first Delta letter thus represents the Earth and the ancient Hellenic Earth Goddess Demeter. On the other side the missing Theta letter also represents the Earth and might refer to Thera - Terra.
