I will not bore everybody with details on the other sphinx alignments(mapping 2 Giza pyramids to 2 Crete mountains ). I just want to post the outcome on these 4 alignments. In Hellas the alignment targets seem to be Delphi, Argos, Fragthi Cave, and the Aroanian mountains.

We all know the importance of Delphi as a sacred omphalos with it’s oracle and it’s tie with God Apollo. Now as regards to Argos we read from wiki:

“Danaus had fifty daughters, the Danaides, twelve of whom were born to Polyxo and rest to Pieria and other women, and his twin brother, Aegyptus, had fifty sons. Aegyptus commanded that his sons marry the Danaides. Danaus elected to flee instead, and to that purpose, he built a ship, the first ship that ever was. In it, he fled to Argos, to which he was connected by his descent from Io, the maiden wooed by Zeus and turned into a heifer and pursued by Hera until she found asylum in Egypt.”

The Fragthi cave was continuously inhabited from 20,000 to 3,000 BC. Findings include a complete skeleton dating back to 10,000 BC and use of obsidian the source of which was the island of Melos. This finding led to the conclusion that open sea sailing in the region was at least 10,000 years old.

If we were to create a slice on the globe starting from the central mountain – Ide and the sites mentioned we would notice that it comprises of very ancient sites and also the geographic back-bone of Hellas. We have the second tallest mountain in the Peloponnese(Kyllene: birth place of Hermes), third tallest Aronaian mountains, we have the tallest mountain in central and southern Hellas(Giona), we have the whole Pindis mountain range with Smolikas(second tallest in Hellas behind Olympus), we have the sacred Tomaros near Dodona, other ones like Grammos, Tymphe, Kakrditsa, Vardousia, etc.. In mainland Hellas apart from Dodona and Delphi , it also encloses Naupaktos, Kirra , Oinatheia.

In the Peloponnese all Argolic pyramids are enclosed(Helliniko, Dalamanara[lost], Ligourio, Kampia, Sikyon[lost]) etc.). It also encloses sites like Hermione, Fragthi Cave, Epidauros(theatre etc), Lerna, Argos, Tiryns, Midea, Prosymna, Heraion, Mycenae(see lion gate), Nayplia, Lessa, Asine, Tenea, Kleonai, Fleious, Nemea(see Hercules slaying the lion of Nemea), Corinth, Stymphalos, Feneos, Sikyon, Heliki, Aigion.

Now the places aligning in Africa are Abu Simbel, mount Ras Dashen(Ethiopia), Naqada and Ras Dashen again. In Egypt this creates a slice of land that encompasses all land on the Nile North of Dehenet (Akoris) up to Abu Simbel(Upper Egypt). Sites included – to name a few are el-Badari, Akhetaten, Abydos, Hierankopolis. The only site left out is Dendera.

It seems that this mountain in Crete – Ide(tallest in Southern Hellas) maps the sacred land in Hellas(up to and including Illyria[Bosnia pyramids etc]) and the sacred land of Egypt(upper Egypt) – extending to Sudan, Ethiopia, and Somalia. If we keep on extending it , we also encompass the Northern part of Madagascar(a very large island). Could this island along with Crete which are both in the middle of the sea have anything to do with Egyptian myths of creation?
