>>None of this makes any sense to me whatsoever.<<
It’s simple. The arithmetic value of the words sphinx, Horus(with a u), and Leo in Greek point to the distance between Regulus and Earth in light years.
>>1. Neptune was not visible; no one knew of its existence before the mid-19th century AD.<<
Neptune is not visible by naked eye but it is visible using telescopes(see ancient lens technology). Uranus is barely visible by naked eye. Both of their names encode the dimensions of the corresponding planets, and there is an ancient reference that leads to the conclusion that Uranus was known. They could have followed the sacred cycle when viewing Uranus at a certain position in the sky – see center of the galaxy. They just had to be told the time period which was encoded in the pyramids.
>>There is far more independent and verifiable evidence to support the theory that different civilizations and cultures represented their deities in different ways than there is to support the theory of supposed contact with alien space invaders.<<
We need to take things one at a time. Is this true or not?:
“There is far more independent and verifiable evidence to support the theory that different civilizations and cultures represented their deities in different ways, than there is to support the theory that different civilizations and cultures represented their deities in more or less the same way(more similarities than differences)”
>>Again, many AE scholars - who might be supposed to know a good deal more about than the question than you do - find it so.<<
Knowing this doesn’t make it any more convincing.
>>If you have - independent and verifiable - evidence that there were pre-existing reasons for the selection of the site of Memphis, then please produce it.<<
A conclusion that can be derive from my theory.
>>The size of the cubit at Giza varied:
Khufu's Pyramid: 20.58 to 20.765 inches
Khafre’s pyramid: 20.573 to 20.82 inches
Menkaure’s pyramid: 20.162 to 20.768 inches<<
Integer fantasies.
>>There is no evidence of this.<<
We don’t always need evidence in science. There are axioms, hypothesis etc.
>>I'm saying that the builders of any subsequent pyramid or pyramids had no choice but to take Khufu's pyramid into account. That is NOT the same thing as arguing that the siting of the three pyramids was pre-planned, which I suspect is what you're trying to say.<<
Yes, take into account how? Seeing that they don’t crash into it?
>>According to Steiglitz, the Pheidonian foot and the Philetaerean foot were the same length. So, contrary to what you say, this particular point is still up for discussion. It turns on what seem to be two differing interpretations of what Heron of Alexandria actually said.<<
Yes I think my work will help in clearing up the use of the Pheidonian foot in ancient Hellas.
>>Well, I don't expect any such thing ...<<
It’s all a question of interpretation.
>>It's never yet been shown that they "encoded" anything ...<<
You should say to your knowledge.
>>The existence of aliens forms a cornerstone of your theory.<<
Not at all. There are a lot of possibilities and I am not taking sides. Others are 1) time travel 2) parallel universe intervention 3) Holy intervention / guidance 4) Destroyed very advanced Earthly civilization that returned from bases on other planets.
