We have:
1) From what I understand in Gilberts book, Signs In The Sky and in regards to OCT we read:
“As the Belt stars set to the south-west of Giza, so they would have formed an angle of approximately 27° west of the southern meridian drawn from G2, the Kafre pyramid. This is close to, but not precisely in alignment with, the Cook line; but if we go back a further 330 years to c.
10880, then the alignment is exact.”
2) From [
www.morien-institute.org] we read in Schoch’s article:
“If we accept Kafre’s reign as the date for the western enclosure, then this calculation pushes the date for the Great Sphinx’s original construction back to approximately the
5000 to
7000 B.C. range.”
3) From Kate Spence’s “Ancient Egyptian chronology and the astronomical orientation of pyramids” we read:
“In order to test further the theory that the simultaneous transit method was used to orient this group of pyramids, the method was modeled mathematically. F. R. Stephenson (personal communication) calculated the distance from the pole of a chord running between the stars z-Ursae Majoris and b-Ursae Minoris. He confirmed that the chord ran precisely through the pole in 2467 BC (astronomical date ±
2466) by computing the date when the right ascension of the two stars differed by exactly 180 degrees.”
4) Greek War of independence is considered officially to have started on March 23
1821 AD with the first military victory over the Turks and the freeing of the city of Kalamata.
At first one would think that the above dates are in no way related to each other. But as I have said before the pyramids were built so as to mark the alignment between Earth – Uranus – Neptune and the center of our galaxy – the Milky Way. This is a cycle that repeats every 4287 years. Thus using Starry Night Pro Plus 6.0.3 I computed the time when these alignments took place(ecliptic longitude of Uranus and Neptune being equal and when they aligned best with the center of the galaxy: Galactic longitude close to 0 deg). These are some results from past to present:
Jan 3
11037 BC
October 9
6753 BC
March 27
2466 BC
March 22
1821 AD
