As for numerology... Perhaps you need to set some ground rules. Like 1 number is irrelavent. 2 numbers is a coincidence. 3 numbers is interesting. 4 numbers is a pattern (note: it still could be a meaningless pattern).

Learning is pattern recognition. There is nothing inherantly wrong with looking at numbers and searching for patterns. However, numerology patterns should not be accepted without being weighed first.
