4/Pi = the reciprocal of what i posted.

Pi/4 is the ratio needed to approximate the encapsulated circle.
But, i am not suggesting Pi/4 is anything new... the real deal is SQRT2 & reciprocal.
Again, there is nothing "new" under the sun.. if anything; this is just forgotten knowledge...that is one of the messages hidden in plain site viewing Khufu GP... that binds the circle and square as one...

knowledge of that would make RMP much easier and explain even more...
then, all calcs could be viewed via the square dimensions....

My point is ... Pi doesn't matter... Pi can be any one of the below=

2000 B.C.E. Babylonians use p = 25/8 = 3.125.
2000 B.C.E. Egyptians use p = 256/81 = 3.1605.
1100 B.C.E. Chinese use p = 3.
550 B.C.E. Old Testament implies p = 3.
250 B.C.E. Archimedes uses a 96-sided polygon to establish 223/71 < pi < 22/7. He also uses a spiral to square the circle.
150 Claudius Ptolemy uses p = 3°8'30" = 377/120 = 3.14166....
250 Wang Fau uses p 142/45 = 3.1555....
263 Liu Hui uses p = 157/50 = 3.14.
450 Tsu Ch'ung-chih establishes 355/113.
530 Aryabhata uses p = 62832/20000 = 3.1416.
650 Brahmagupta uses p = 10 1/2 = 3.162....
1220 Leonardo de Pisa (Fibonacci) finds p = 3.141818.... [New Jerusalem Pi]
SQRT(3)+SQRT(2) = 3.14626436 [Square Root Pi]
SQRT(10) = 3.162277 [SQUARE Pi with 22/7 old school pi hidden inside!]

And, Pi/4 multiplied by the "parent" or "encapsulating" square area...
will approximate the area of that "child" circle in ratio to the square.

this "could" concern the RMP 50.. because it shows how the square and circle are seen in geometry... and math.... combined.

Pi is variable... and, SQRT2 binds them both!

it is the "root" of the "square" that binds the circle and square as one group ... Pythagoras' constant SQRT2 is the key....along with its reciprocal 1/SQRT2.

If you know the diameter, then you know the parent square measures...
Ahmes didn't get 100% on the Rhind Papyrus, or some of the results were shown to be in error..... so, i don't think his solution was "the" solution ....just "a" solution....

but, the SQRT2 logic meshes a layer of combined irrationals between multiples of "2" in diameter...square side...area...circumference....whatever... they relate in ratio of SQRT2/1:1/SQRT2 to one another.. all measures.... infinite regression or expansion...

there is much speculation as to whether AE knew or experimented with roots or not. Even professor Assem Deif has written recent articles speculating such...

and, given the [SIDE] of the Square will always be equal to the [DIAMETER] of the circle it encapsulates... IT is easier to calculate the square above and approximate by ratio to get the circle "measures" ... all of them.... given, their "supposed" lack of Pi knowledge...

I was just offering what i could see via the geometric approach....
doesnt mean it applies to AE... and the RMP directly...
but, this was all extracted from researching and viewing overheads of KHufu....
And, Khufu has Pi calculations embedded all over it ...
according to 100's of articles throughout the net...! smiling smiley

Use of Square to get to the Pi... seems legit for RMP 50.

I was not.

the diagram i posted was specific to convey "Area" of circle in relation to parent Square "area" in ratio of Pi/4

and relates each "group" of circle and square "Combo" ... by SQRT2/1:1/SQRT2

So, not sure where i veered from the RMP 50 .... I did not gauge temperatures from what i read? But, Sherif Morsi has a theory going with the GP and courses representing F degree scales of temp.... posted at GHMB.

i trust that should assist to better explain the diagram previously posted.
good evening.
