I have witnessed most of these attempts to pull Giza in line and I'm always sympathetic to a good plot when I see one. There should be a database of failed schemes for this would at least stop the same mistakes being made twice.

I'm waiting to see Abu Rawash and Giza grided together because it now seems that Radjedef has earned a good guy ti shirt for his cooperation at Giza. If there was such a scheme at Giza during Khufu's reign then Radjedef would have known about it. So why not extend the grids to take in Abu Rawash ( I don't mean join the dots) . On a good day the two tallest pyramids at Giza are visible from Abu Rawash.

Anyway I probably wouldn't accept anything that couldn't be broken down into Egypt's two most revered fractions, 1/2 and 2/3rds. This is how they thought number. It's the foundation on which their mathematics was built so forget sqrts for a moment and concentrate on 'half of this and 2/3rds of that'. When that's achieved the golden section will no doubt follow.
