Lee, forgive me for not responding sooner, but I had other things to take care of before I could respond now by saying that I emphatically agree with Hermione and Byrd. Your analysis was exactly what I was hoping for, and has to be the definitive one on the glyphs I questioned.

Before I add to, comment on, or question your analysis, however, I need some time to examine and digest the wealth of information you presented. In the interim, I’ll just add the following version of Utterance 68 that Renouf gave in his translation of the Book of the Dead to the ones you gave:

"Let the two doors of Heaven be opened to me: let the two doors of Earth he opened to me: let the bolts of Seb open to me, and let the FIRST MANSION be opened to me . . ." [http://www.masseiana.org/Renouf/#LXVIII]

I intend to go much deeper into these glyphs and related ones, and I will add my findings and questions to this thread as and after I do. Until then, thanks again for giving me so many leads, and in advance for any additional thoughts you or anyone else might have on the glyphs in question.
