Thanks very much for taking the time to write this very informative response, Mr. Cooper.

Having examined the glyphs that De Buck shows on p. 230 of the work you referenced, it is troubling that none of those have the god determinative that Budge shows. Still, I can't believe that Budge just threw that determinative in to support his translation -- particularly since he shows the same determinative in Maspero's and Sethe's rendering of the same word, though I still haven't been able to find either of those.

I should note, however, that p. 565 of The Worterbuch translates the radically similar word ptr.tj as 'goddesses' or 'prestesses', and that Budge also translates Petra.ba as 'a name of Ra', apparently as Naville had. However, since Budge references "Nav. Lit.28," which I can't find in his list of references, I can't confirm that glyph either.

In any case, if you or anyone else here can give me any more info on these words, I would greatly appreaciated it.
