It's an excellent resource, starting with attitudes towards the past in the ancient world, and carrying on up to formal modern archaeology. Of special interest is the insight that most of the "new" approaches presented by alternos - you know, the "new ideas" that archaeologists are supposed to be too close-minded to consider - are repetitions or variants of very old ideas and exploded hypotheses, already rejected for very good reason.
