I repeat, your hostility to professional scholarship borders on the pathological - no matter how you might redefine it. It is also a powerful indicator of your ignorance of how the field works.

Myself, I'm not cheering too loudly until we know for sure who is replacing Zahi...but my fingers are crossed that it will be somebody competent, and with the best interests of the archaeological record at heart.
