(a) So two centuries of painstaking Egyptology would be undone by ten years of Zahi? Do you have any idea how ludicrous that is?
(b) If anybody bit their tongue around Zahi, it was out of tact, not collaboration. I understand he could be very difficult at times. However, although he was corrupt and megalomaniacal, he was still the legally constituted authority in the host country, in charge of administering legally binding antiquities ordinances. Western archaeologists working abroad remain very conscious that they are essentially guests in someone else's country. The Egyptologists did not choose Zahi, but they had to respect the Egyptian government's choice at the time.
(c) I repeat, your hostility to professional scholarship borders on the pathological. It is also a powerful indicator of your ignorance of how the field works. Though I'm starting to suspect you're simply a troll, merrily derailing would-be sensible discussions with your "gatekeeper" nonsense. Read a few books on the history of archaeology - try to get some sense of how the consensus has healthily shifted over the years, as the database has grown, and new frameworks of method and theory have been developed.
