The Greek text says "oikêma mounolithon ekomise ex Elephantinês." III.175.3. The word in question, oikema, has many possible translations including (all from the Perseus online dictoonaries): brothel. tavern, cage or pen (for animals). temple, fane, chapel and prison. I assume the word shrine was chosen contextually; as the "chamber" was set outside a temple, none of the other choices seems *quite* right.
