I just solved Giza for real. The pyramids depict three stars along the bottom of the constellation Leo.
The image below shows the three stars of Leo and also the star corresponding to the Sphinx, Alpha Sextantis. The Sphinx looks rightward toward the star Alphard and the constellation Hydra. Hydra was actually called "The Nile" by the Egyptians because it resembles the river. Anyone can find this by searching Google. Hydra was the stellar Nile to the Egyptians and you can see that those three stars of Leo and the Sphinx star are to the left of the Nile-like band of stars that make up Hydra.
It's a perfect depiction and it is North=up without any mirroring or anything. The match of the stars to the Petrie Giza diagram is also even closer than any of the Orion stars. The middle star is just slightly off from the center of Khafre's pyramid (I haven't made a final image of that yet).
In conclusion, I now have the most perfect Giza stellar theory ever, in my opinion. I'm now abandoning all Orion based theories.
This image shows the stars' positions in the constellations.
