I see what you mean. A strange feature, you can just make out the blocks here:

On the West wall there's modern restoration which makes them rather difficult to see now.
Oddly Dormion, who draws all the vertical joints on his plan, doesn't show then on the East wall but does draw them on the West wall. M&R don't show them at all.
I find Dormion's drawings a frustrating experience. He has detail that no one else records but he'll suddenly miss off a measurement or, as in this case, fail to record a feature when on the same drawing he shows all the fissures and small details that lead you to think that it's a complete record of the wall.
