We are talking about the OK. Petrie's digit is real.
Anyone interested in the metrology of the OK will eventually do some work on these digits. If they bare no resemblance to divisions of the 20.62 royal cubit then so be it. The best we can do is to ask why.
Petrie said as much in 1882 and left it for future researchers to ponder. AFAIK no one has taken him seriously.
I mentioned 11 and 33 merely to show how uncomplicated the arithmetic can be in forming equivalents. The fractions 1/2, 1/3, 2/3 are always in easy reach.
These digits are worth exploring for their own sake rather than as a means to justify the inch coincidence. It just so happens that they remind us of imperial measure and its structure which is kinda weird.
