Hello Anthony,
What exactly have I got "100% wrong" and "has been demonstrated ad nauseum"?
Pray, do tell.
My post to you, and which C. Wayne commented on (thanks C. Wayne
), was not and is not "an ad hoministic swipe" at you.
It is a matter of fact that you repeatedly dismiss (often snidely, IMO) posters' theories and hypotheses that you don't agree with along the lines of: you obviously haven't studied the Egyptian culture.
I happen to think that MaaT's posters and lurkers alike deserve better than this.
As Lee comments, "This is your standard reply Anthony, and it is not only predictable. but tiresome."
Time and again you dismiss a poster's comments, or whatever, with rhetoric, but when he or she asks you to provide material or references to materials in support of your assertion there's invariably silence from you.
This is, quite simply, unfair.
As I say, Anthony, everybody here deserves better.
Broadly speaking, if you disagree with a poster's viewpoint, opinion, hypothesis, theory, etc., then you should either ignore it or have the decency to make some proper effort to provide in your post/response evidence in support of your position.
Your dismissively stating your opinion that, say, "It was not a part of AE culture" is simply not good enough.
You wrote to C. Wayne, 'Your "quarter based solution" is just such an uninformed opinion. Why not do the ethical thing and remove it from the web so you don't mislead any more people with your debunked, defunct geomancy?'
C. Wayne's hypothesis is undoubtedly well within the capabilities of the 4th Dyn. Egyptians.
The question of intent is, IMO, the sticking point here.
How about you now posting details of or references to the evidence that allows you to assert that C. Wayne's "quarter based solution" is "debunked, defunct geomancy"?
Why wouldn't the AEs have created such an alignment - bearing in mind it could be the result of work by Menkaure's architect
alone?
