Correct. There are several references to Egypt in the old testament. Additionally, one of the best old copies of the Bible comes from the Latin Vulgate translation, created in Alexandria.
Moses is still an enigma. What was the deal with the snake? Was he a snake chamer, or was this a scepter with a snake head? And Manetho's account is also mysterious, using the term "Osarsiph". Several etymologies have been proposed for this Osarsiph character... Osiris, a man from the city of Siph in Egypt, or O-Serapis. It is not clear if Manetho was even talking about the same person.
