We've seen this one before... although without the Sudan reference. Regardless of the origin of the word, the dictionary says the definition of Amen is "So be it".
Ancient Hebrew is a known language... it does not appear this was a borrowed word from the Egyptians. The topic is potentially offensive, as the implications would be that all Christians and Jews are praying to the Egyptian God "Amoun", without knowing it. So the burden of proof on this connection must be higher than normal.
It has been proven in the past that you could combine Egyptian Letters to create lots of words to translate Cretan Heiroglyphs, or Phrygian or Tartessian, or any language if you wanted to... of course the translation would be wrong, but you could make sentences.
A similar sounding word in another language with a different meaning is not proof of Origin.
