Natural limestone ramp set at 26.5 degrees.
I did some shaping to get ramp flat, still not perfect yet. Ran belt sander to smooth ramp.
Also ran belt sander on flat side of granite rock to smooth a little.
Strange but it seemed like the more I smoothed ramp and rock the better it would stick to the ramp. So I’m not sure at this point if smoothing is better or not.
The main thing I wanted to determine is would the plug stones need to be held back or not. At this point it looks like no but I will continue to work the ramp and rock to get a better understanding. It may be a while before I get back with results.
Experiment to continue.
Any advice or comments would be welcome.
