What is the evidence that every single aspect of a pyramid had to have something to do with assisting the king into his afterlife, etc., etc.
Is it not at all plausible that the arithmetic and geometry involved in the creation of a pyramid (particularly those of the 4th Dyn.) had nothing to do with the king's/pharaoh's after-life?
Why cannot the dimensions and precise layouts of a pyramid's interior have been down to just a simple mix of the practical and the aesthetically pleasing?

If the arithmatic and geometry used in the planning of a pyramid's interior was an integral part of the process in getting the king/pharoah safely to the afterlife, etc., why is there so little uniformity in the size and layouts of the interiors of the pyramids of the 4th Dyn?
