The only 'alignment' I can accept is the 'alignment' of younger monuments with the aid of older ones. So, it is possible that Khafre's pyramid was positioned exactly parallel to Khufu's with the aid of the east-west and the north-south sides of Khufu's pyramid.

In the same context, it is possible that Menkaure's pyramid was positioned exactly parallel to Khafre's with the aid of the east-west and the north-south sides of Khafre's pyramid.

After all, the three pyramids are positioned exactly parallel with regard to each other.
