If you didn't know how to align a pyramid you certainly wouldn't be working with the Pharaoh or his architects.

You really don't realise how important this aspect was?

Creighton is quite wrong on how it was done.

It was, nevertheless, done, and was a central part of the funerary traditions of Old Kingdom Egypt.
