Quite true. Natron was also used in packets which were wrapped up with
the mummy to draw out any retained moisture. It was used in "pots" which
was probably a kind of standard measure. These pots were often sacrificed.
But references to "pellets of natron" have so far proven elusive.
I've found a way to search the PT by using key words "utterance" and "n"
and the search phrase in google that seems to work well.
Here is another one by a different transcription from the pyramid of Unes"157 (32) pouring of libation under the feet
by the priest
This is your libation, Osiris.
This is your libation, O King Unas, have gone forth -libation & two pellets of natron- to your son, have gone forth to Horus.
I have come and I bring You the Eye of Horus, that your heart may be refreshed with it. I bring it to You under your feet.
Take the outflow that comes out from You. Your heart will not be weary with it.
To say the words four times :
"Come, (for) You have been invoked !"
This one seems less conclusive to me but Osiris is being invoked and
with natron.
