That might be the salt found in the same chamber.

I've looked without success for the composition of this sand. The
only report I've seen says that it is distinct from the sand in the
outside desert. It is not a fraction of it and is chemically differ-
ent.

There has not been a truly satisfactory explanation for the salt either.
