The question wasn't were there Asiatics in Egypt. The question was why it is necessary to look outside Egypt to explain the features of native Egyptians..... There is no evidence to support that Yuya or Thuya were native Egyptians and therefore no reason to believe that they looked more like Asiatics or Eurasian, where Eurasia is a reference to the Eurasian landmass which stretches from Britain to China.

Yes, there were Asiatics in dynastic Egypt. However, they were seen as invaders for the most part. If you want to count the Hyksos as some sort of 'native' Egyptian dynasty, then fine. But the same goes for the Ptolemies as well. Neither of these were native Egyptians. Therefore, it is not accurate to lump foreign derived rulers who were seen as enemies by the natives with indigenous Egyptian people. There is no evidence whatsoever to tie Asiatics with the family of Yuya and Thuya. That is all speculation, pure and simple. The 18th dynasty rose up against Asiatic invaders ruling Egypt with help from Southerners, so it is doubtful that a whole lot of Asiatics remained around and were accepted as royalty during this time. That goes against all common sense and the facts. Throughout Egyptian dynastic history Asiatics were seen as foreigners, invaders, symbols of chaos and drought, where southerners were seen as people of order, balance, renewal and life. This is how the Egyptians themselves portrayed their relations with Asiatics and certain Southerners. Therefore, it is not something that can be downplayed or dismissed as not being relevant, seeing as these southerners were the rulers at the time and the ones with the power and historical ties to the culture.
