Anthony:

Are you sure you went to school?

I recall your comment several years past of a statement made by your English teacher at the time of your final departure.

Don't know the exact words but I think it indicated that you should "shock" the reader with your work...make them sit up and take notice.

Well you do succeed in that respect...your replies are definitely interesting to read and I enjoy the fun had when sharing with others.

Now...
Look and analyse each word of the following sentence, apply their individual definitions to form a logical assumption of the writer's intent.

Are you ready?

"...You don't get seconds of time until you have a device capable of measuring seconds of time. The Egyptians didn't use the Babylonian 60-unit measurement, and thus didn't have 60 "seconds" in a minute... in fact, they didn't measure time that precisely..."

Those are the opening words from Byrd...followed by a reference that states the opposite...Wikipedia!

I have no idea of Byrd's sex and I don't care if it’s male or female...it's the posting...it is deceiving at best.

Next:
From Byrd: "...And an arc-second is rather larger than the pyramid..."

What does angular measure have to do with this topic and how is it applied to measuring pyramids?

Again:
"...you're confusing time with linear measurement..."

This is an awesome statement…I wonder if Byrd is a professional “expert”?
Evidently Byrd has absolutely no concept for the various functions of time measure.

I was going to allow these nonsense statements to pass; it wasn't worth critiquing, but you forced my hand. The odd part is that you neglected to comment on the errors in Byrd’s post, yet you claim to have read it in detail and that places you on the same level of incompetence…right?

Unfortunately, you and Byrd have a long wait for that apology. But first...you must hurry to the closest school and register for an elementary reading program before it's too late.

Best.
