Its funny because the lack of fresh air is something new since they stopped smoking on flights. In the good old days they used to pump plenty of fresh air through just to get the smoke (well CO) out of the system. Now they can recycle the same air massively more than before which saves on fuel bills (heating the freezing air to room temperature).

People really don't appreciate smokers enough nowdays. We keep the NHS going with our ciggy tax, and save massive amounts on pensions because we die earlier!



PS. I think there is also an issue with it being at lower pressure than at ground level - rather than just the amount of fresh air itself.
