Not really.

Had it been intelligently designed wouldn't it have been able to do that WITHOUT mans intervention?

And if it the mouse has been intelligently designed without that capacity, why was it so easy to add the capacity... was the original designer having a 'senior moment'? Is he now muttering to himself 'hrm why didn't I think of adding that'

I see this as evidence against intelligent design.
