I'm certain that they will be able to do the same for humans as well. One of my old friends had a stem cell transplant with the unexpected side effect of regenerating her kidneys. I think we humans do have the capability. I do have to admit that I hate this part: "The only organ that did not grow back was the brain." Grrr...the brain never gets regenerated, darn it!! lol
