> No I'm afraid you've still got it wrong! Flying Spaghetti Monsterism is not an
> evolution based subject, but an intelligent design subject.
Not that funny...
> Maybe its just making you uncomfortable!
Not really, I am very comfortable with spaghetti and monsters...
> Can I ask you a serious question though! If you put so much down to 'God did it', how
> do you know where really science stops and the 'God' effect begins?
I don't know what you mean by 'God' effect. It is more an issue of reference in terms of how to try to solve a problem and what information database one is tapping into...
> Doesn't it worry you that maybe scientists are going to miss loads of breakthroughs
> because they see gaps in the current understanding and said 'ahhh thats where God
> worked his magic' instead of 'Now why does this gap in our understanding occur?'
> and exploring it.
On the contrary! Most great ideas and breakthoughs take place when you are taking a shower or a bath or walking on a trail, ridding a bike, etc. With Newton, the story is that he was taking a nap under an Apple tree and an Apple fell on his head...
See, once again, all of the evidence fully supports my position...
> Also would it be such a wrench to say the bible is wrong? Its allegory! As long as
> the moral behind it is good it doesn't mean the story itself it true.
I have no idea since I do not read the bible! My mother read it to me when I was very little and that was many, many years ago and I don't remember much about it...again, you are simply out of tune with reality as I fully expected...
> I constantly try and see things from your point of view.
ImHO that would be a very good thing for you since I seem to be more in tune with true reality...
> That doesn't mean I agree with it, just that I can see where you are coming from.
I am OK with that. I do not want to take over your brain...
> Now you try that with me! See that science, evolution, big bang theory etc don't
> stand in the way of God. They compliment Him.
OK, if you say so!
> Personally I would have less respect for a god who made the universe and moulded
> and modelled and took a hand in everything,
btw, we all carry "infinite" inside of us...there is a direct map between inner space and outer space within each being...the higher the frequency, the higher the bandwidth and the more information can be carried in the equivalent of a zero point space, etc, etc...an Universe can be mapped within...
> than a God who set the laws of physics down
OK, I like that...
> and sat back KNOWING how things would turn out with having to take other action
I think that you mean 'without' having to take other action...
> like switching the odd gene in a creatures make-up. Now THATS omnipotence and
> omniscience.
The force fields take care of that...
> I don't understand why such Christian fundamentalists, as you appear to be, feel so
> threatened that they have to cast down science and try and force it to fit their
> beliefs.
Well since I am not "Christian" or "fundamentalist" I am not sure who you are talking about. But I do believe that a Christ dude walked the Earth, unlike many other who don't, otherwise why would millions follow such a ghost!!!
In terms of casting down science, I don't do such thing! What I don't like at all are the orthodox who just cannot approach a problem with an open mind...and are almost incapable of independent thinking...
> Now you definitely AREN'T going to agree with my next statement, and maybe you're even
> going to cast me into flames for it, but I really don't care.
I don't do such things! LOL
> As a Freemason, in the second degree, we are told to explore the hidden mysteries
> of science and nature, leading up to the thrown of God. Why is it a problem to
> explore the universe without assuming God did everything directly?
No problem with me at all whether or not you are a freemason or a mason that is not free...
> Science, particularly evolution, has taught us so much about the world and ecology
> we live in. Without the theory of evolution we'd have less medicines, more disease
> and many more problems. Why? Why is this a problem?
Not a problem directly. It is the action/reaction aspects of it and the additional viral and bacteria mutations that are made due to certain actions taken! I read somewhere that some people think that the AIDS virus was created/made by some mad scientists, then there is all these other germs made by other types of mad scientists for germ/bio warfare that are also made!!!
> No doubt you'll site some small area where evolution hasn't produced the answer.
Huge areas since our socio-economic system and civilization just cannot continue to scale as is in the 21st century... That is reality for you...
> But just because we haven't found the answer yet doesn't mean we should stop looking.
OK...
> We have overwhelming evidence of the evolution of countless species, and I hear so
> often 'oh well this one example prooves its all wrong'. Maybe stopping at that level
> it might, but isn't it better to say. 'Well we have three thousand examples which
> show this is the way things happen, what has made this one different' without just
> blaming God (the poor being gets blamed for enough why pile more at its door).
Soory but I just could not follow your logic and reason on this last sentence! Who is blaming God!?
> The error you make is that evolution isn't the end answer. Its the toolkit and the
> framework to find the answer.
Well, again, that really depends on what information database one is tappind into...
> But don't worry! I don't expect a real answer from you!
All my answers are real and use straight and forward logic that is reasonably easy to follow by the reader...
> Is that straw I can smell burning?
Well, check your hat! LOL
