It IS a good idea. We have a little hands-on earthquake museum for kids at the Center for Earthquake Research and Information (at the University of Memphis) (http://www.ceri.memphis.edu/perc) and I am always surprised at the level of questions the kids ask. We have a bit of archaeological information on this site as well as geoscience, so couple that with the Institute of Egyptian Art and Archaeology on campus I think we are making a dent.
