It depends if the spin is in the same direction as the orbit, or in the opposite direction.

If it's in the same direction the daylight will be 1 mercury year long at any spot on the equator on the surface, as long as the axis is roughly perpendicular to the orbit plane.

If it's the other direction the daylight at the equator will be 0.2 mercury years long.
