Given that the first tropical storm of the season has
appeared, I thought people might be interested in a
set of current web pages, which provide tracking and
about hurricanes. Unfortunately, my favorite page has
gone commercial and can now only be accessed by paying
23.00 dollars a year / season. Thus, it is no longer
available for free. However, a friend at work is passing
around the below list of web pages about hurricane
tracking and related tropical storm information.

"The official (and somewhat limited) stuff is here:
1. National Weather Service - [
www.nhc.noaa.gov]
These are three very good all-purpose sources:
2. Crown Weather Services. Limestone, Maine
Tropical Weather Information - [
www.crownweather.com].
3. Weather Underground Tropical Weather - [
www.wunderground.com]
4. BoatU.S. Hurricane Center - Hurricane Tracking - [
www.boatus.com] .
There's good imagery and data in Plymouth State Weather Center
Tropical Weather Menu at [
vortex.plymouth.edu] .
This is a good source of Reconnaissance Data at [
www.sfwmd.gov].
If you want to run the models yourself then try "Experimental
forecast Tropical Cyclone Genesis Potential Fields" at [
met.psu.edu].
And if you want the details then check out "DIFAX Charts" at [
orca.rsmas.miami.edu].
If you want some fearless opinions, try "Breaking Weather News" at [
www.accuweather.com].
Oh, and if you want every known weather link, try [
www1.drive.net];
