One-third of American health researchers have admitted to questionable scientific conduct in a survey of reported in the Nature journal today.

.3% falsified data
1.4% used someone else's ideas without permission or credit
15.5% changed how they conducted an experiment or its results in response to pressure from a funding source.
12.5% overlooked use of flawed data or questionable interpretation of data.
6% failed to present data that contradicted their own earlier research.

This sort of thing hardly looks good, especially in a "hard science" research setting. What does it bode for "softer" sciences? Ugh.
