A couple of months back I left the company I had worked at for three and a half years (I'm not advertising them here
) and as a leaving present, knowing my love of Sci-fi, astonomy and science one of their presents was a booked called 'Origins of Existence' by Fred Adams.
Though this book doesn't forcus on evolution, in the sense that it is regularly argued on here, it DOES focus on how life emerged both on Earth and possibly in the universe. I found it a highly informative book and would recomend it... particularly to those who can't cope with the concept that life came from ever more complex chains of molecules (no names mentioned!), and think it just appeared pooof out of thin air.
