Apparently not
The first literary use is in Billy Liar where it is used as an acronym for "nasty, awful, f**k it" - apparently derived from the NAAFI. It was part of London gay slang for straight (Not available for f*****g) - which may have connotations with a sitcom based around two men in a prison cell but who knows!
