Actually Merc, the antagonisms listed are mostly verbal or "action" based, which invite contextual variation.( to "buckle" [together] vs buckled[to collapse]).To buckle or "unbuckle" implies opposite "actions" by definition--not opposite meanings. Whereas with tonal languages simple nouns can have disparate "meanings" based only on tonal emphasis. I would guess that would be far more confusing to a non-native speaker.
