we are a city with more people living in per sq meter than most other citys, including london....., dont forget the city of london is teeny in comparison to its much larger borough......and we are a city because we have a cathedral...and let me tell you when Southampton was made into a city WITHOUT having a cathedral, there was a riot, i can tell you...well, more like a severe harrumphing over a coffee morning at the local church anyway...lolol
