I can't take credit for these. I am just posting them. These kurals were written by a Tamil Poet two thousand (and 35?) years ago. And the translations are by Rev Dr G U Pope, Rev W H Drew, Rev John Lazarus, and Mr F W Ellis. I just type the tamil version and sometimes I translate whenever I think english translation is not exactly what the kural means. That also I skip a lot.

The main beauty of these kurals is, the way they were written. each kural consists of seven words; four in the first line and three in the second line. this was strictly followed for all kurals (1330 in total). And there is Tamil grammer rules.. which were very strictly and beautifully followed. I can explain these sometimes if someone has interests.
